Theodore M. Medlyn

Theodore “Teddy” M. Medlyn, Esq. is a former kindergarten teacher, and step-father to three, who funnels his passion for child development into robust defense and comprehensive counsel for clients in high conflict and or abusive situations. He claims “If I won the lottery, I would still be doing this.” Domesticated in Nevada since 2010, Teddy graduated Law School from Vegas’s own William S. Boyd in 2016 after completing his BA in economics at UNR.

Mr. Medlyn has practiced for over 7 years with a reputation for promoting sensible and collaborative solutions wherever possible.  However, when reasonable options are exhausted, his dedication to protecting the children’s best interests shines through with commitment and compassion. His economic background allows for competent navigation of high-asset divorces, including complex business valuations or separate property claims.

In his free time, Teddy likes to play boardgames and Table-top RPGs, competitive Magic the Gathering, and karaoke to flex his former professional opera singing skills. He fosters outreach programs for relationship and communication skills, and hosts a weekly community breakfast to people of all backgrounds.
